Some people believe that their job allows them to exercise regularly, or that they have friends who support them in staying fit. Those people are lucky. Those people don’t have any problems. They control everything. I wish all people could do the same. Unfortunately, many of us don’t know how to manage our personal and work lives. Many people have bad habits that lead to illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes.

Here are some tips to help improve your lifestyle.

  1. Get adequate sleep - 7 hours a day minimum, 8 hours maximum. This means sleeping properly and not consuming caffeine in the hour before bed. Caffeine blocks the production of melatonin hormones and makes it harder to fall asleep. Your bedroom should be darkened and cleaned. Consider using blackout curtains, especially if working late at night.
